Asset Management

Executive Summary

Asset Management tracks organisational assets — equipment, devices, furniture, and other valuable items. Record what you own, who has it, where it is, and its condition over time.

Getting Started

Open Assets in the sidebar to view your organisation’s asset register.

Asset Register

The register lists every tracked asset with tag number, category, location, assigned user, and status.

Use search and filters to find items due for return, maintenance, or audit.

Adding Assets

  1. Create a new asset from the register.
  2. Enter description, serial number, purchase date, and value.
  3. Set category and default location.
  4. Save to add it to the register.

Assigning Assets

Assign assets to employees or departments when issued. Record return dates when equipment comes back.

Tracking and Reporting

Review asset history — assignments, transfers, and status changes — from each asset’s detail page. Export or filter the register for periodic audits.
